Is your summer a little cooler without a sizzling salsa? Do you feel out of step without celebrities dancing the quick step? With ABC's popular series Dancing with the Stars on summer hiatus, what are ballroom-dancing fans to do for their weekly fix of waltzes, sambas, and fox trots? Well, Out.com has partnered with ABC.com to launch the new web series Show and Tell, hosted by the irrepressibly out-loud-and-proud Bruno Tonioli and starring an array of gay, lesbian, and transgender stars, including Chad Allen, Robert Gant, and Candis Cayne.
These instructional videos show the various LGBT stars getting basic training in proper dance technique from professionals. Then, the professionals, partnered in same-sex couples, take it from there, gliding across the dancefloor and making the seemingly impossible look effortless. The first episode focuses on the waltz with Tony Award-winning actress and Dancing with the Stars alum Marissa Jaret Winokur plying her fancy footwork with two masters of the romantic dance. You can also go behind the scenes with the celebrities and even vote for the gay celebrity you'd like to see this fall on the Dancing with the Stars season premiere on Monday, September 21. Will it be Tim Gunn, Perez Hilton, Boy George, David Hyde Pierce, or George Michael? You decide. And don't forget to check out Show and Tell!

Gay DWTS
In reading the article about the gay community being involved with "Dancing With the Stars"; I was left wondering...with the mention of gay men in this article; does that mean that the next outing of DWTS is going to be all gay? No offense to those of you who are of this persusion, but I'm sorry...I just don't care to see two men or two women dancing together. I've noticed that those who are gay that have been on the show have put their differences behind them and danced with a partner of the opposite sex. Please don't mess with this wonderful and entertaining show. If two couples of the same persuation start dancing together, I will be switching the channel. Sorry, but that's just how I feel.

Gay dancing with the stars
If you don't like it you don't have to tune in.
Not to be snide, but my partner and I once belonged to a gay square dancing group and a country line dance group. He actually belonged to several, even taught.
It can be great fun to watch..especially if you are as clumsy as I am ..I usually sat out a lot.
There is always someone who just cannot abide any kind of change. There is room for us all, shoot they could even alternate the shows.
